Bird Watcher Santa

Today's Santa is another fun one - Bird Watcher Santa complete with his binoculars and bird feeder. The dish pattern we selected for the place setting is called "Softwind" by Lenox and is just right for any bird watching Santa.

Our inspiration Santa (we took the blue from his shirt as our accent color)

The place setting

Flatware is rustic "Montana" by Gourmet Settings

I've always loved this pattern - and it wears like iron.

A wood-like charger

Our cousin gave us several of these gorgeous glasses from his collection

The napkin ring is similar to the votive holders

Of course, you must have your own set of binoculars

Boxes made from matching blue cardstock

Natural elements mixed with inexpensive birds decorate the tree

One last look
 Where it came from:
Placemat - Pier 1
Flatware - "Montana" by Gourmet Settings from Bed, Bath, and Beyond
Wooden Charger - Pier 1 last year
Dishware - my first everyday dishes 40 years ago.....
Napkins and Napkin Rings - Bed, Bath, and Beyond (I've had a "dish problem" for a very long time)
Glassware - By Portieux, a gift from our cousin
Tree, Votive Holders, Tea lights, Birds, Card Stock for Boxes - Michael's
Bird Feeder Santa - Pierson's (our local Building Center)

We will be joining Cuisine Kathleen's "Let's Dish" Wednesday:  http://www.cuisinekathleen.com/
