Lenox Urban Lights Table

Pat and I walked into our local animal rescue thrift store recently and found a single place setting of beautiful Lenox Urban Lights in perfect condition. The price? Two dollars.....I had to have it for our single place setting collection (not that I need anymore, but who could pass that up?)
To give the simple but elegant plate design more presence, Pat used two charger - one gold, one black.

Pat wanted simple lines - so she used Kate Spade's "All In Good Taste" flatware by Lenox

The only design on the dinnerware is the gold and black medallion in the center

Since the black charger had to be smaller than the gold leaf charger, Pat used a black Fiesta(ware) chop plate

I like this style of footed cup compared to the flat design that a lot of dinnerware has

Elegant Royal Doulton Carlyle Table

One of the most elegant and popular patterns made by Royal Doulton is "Carlyle."

I love the "footed" shape of the cup in this pattern

This is a slightly smaller gold charger - 12 inches across instead of the standard 13 inch size.
