Cinco de Mayo Table

Cinco de Mayo is coming up - and here in California, it is celebrated with great fanfare. The date is observed to commemorate the Mexican victory over the French at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862. Pat decided to set the table using Homer Laughlin's vintage pattern, "Mexicana" and paired it with a small arrangement of succulents.

Where it came from:
Red Tablecloth - from Linentablecloth.com (Here) -- a great place to find inexpensive table linens and other table and wedding related things (as always, thanks to Alycia Nichols at Tablescapes at Table Twenty-One who told us about the place)
Burlap Placemat - from Tuesday Morning last year
Flatware - "Treble Clef" by Gourmet Settings from Bed, Bath, and Beyond
Dinnerware - "Mexicana" by Homer Laughlin from our collection of single place settings
Napkins - Handmade by Pat
Napkin Ring - from Pier 1 last year
Blue Water Goblet - from Mervyn's years ago
Beer Pilsner - from Ross years ago
Candle Holders - from TJMaxx last year
Candles - from Michael's
