Johnson Brothers Friendly Village Luncheon Table

It seemed only natural to set the table this week using Johnson Brother's "Friendly Village" since we set our other tablescaping blog with their "Olde English Countryside" dinnerware. Our Mother originally collected "Friendly Village" many years ago and we were fortunate enough to inherit it.

Pat mixed in vintage silverplate flatware with the place setting to add a slightly formal look

Love the signature square salad plate

For a charger, Pat used a "Periwinkle" Fiesta(ware) chop plate

We found a set of eight vintage placemats and matching napkins at a local antique store years ago

Where it came from:
Place Mat and Matching Napkin - from Art & Old Things (a local antique store) several years ago
Charger - "Periwinkle" Fiesta(ware) Chop Plate by Homer Laughlin from Replacements.com
Dinnerware - "Friendly Village" by Johnson Brothers from our Mother
Flatware - "Reverie" Silverplate by Oneida from eBay
Foliage and Greenery - from Michael's

Halloween with Fiesta(ware) Table

This week's table is set for Halloween using lots of different colored Fiesta(ware) - nothing boring or plain here. Pat used "Lemongrass," "Plum," "Black," "White," and "Poppy" to make a a lively, fun table to celebrate "All Hallows Eve."
"Color" is the main feature for this week's table

Pat made the matching napkin and place mat

Flatware is sturdy Primastone handled stainless steel by Noritake - the pattern is "Primary"

In addition to the vibrant napkin and matching place mat, Pat used a very colorful spider napkin ring

Pat even added purple candles

The multicolored centerpiece is from Per 1 - we found it on the 90% off sale shelf a few years ago

Fiestaware and Fun Fall Table

Like she did on our other tablescaping blog, Pat used another "puppy" plate from Pier 1 for this week's table as the inspiration. She mixed it with "Slate" and "Periwinkle" Fiesta(ware) to make a fun lunch time table.

Flatware is "Vintage Countryside" by Ricci - it's has a classic style that goes with any place setting

Sorry the picture is not good, but this is "Slate" - one of Fiesta(ware)'s newer colors

The charger is a "Periwinkle" Fiesta(ware) Chop plate

The smoke colored water glass is from the Dollar Tree

This is the mug that matches the accent plate - Pat decided to use a simple black cup instead
