Assorted Fiesta(ware) Table

One of Pat's favorite tricks is to take a colorful napkin and use it as the inspiration for a tablescape. This week's napkin was found at TJMaxx last year. Pat pulled out an assortment of colorful Fiesta(ware) and went about creating the place setting.

This is actually a Fiesta(ware) Buffet plate - Kohl's sells it as a luncheon plate. It's 9" across but does not have the customary rim.

Where it came from:
Place Mat/Napkin - from TJMaxx last year
Charger - by Bernardaud from Tuesday Morning several years ago
Dinner Plate, Bread/Butter Plate, and Salt/Pepper Shakers - "Peacock" Fiesta(ware) by Homer Laughlin from Macy's and Replacements three or four years ago
Luncheon/Buffet Plate - "Lemongrass" Fiesta(ware) by Homer Laughlin from Kohl's
Salad Plate/Liner - "White" Fiesta(ware) by Homer Laughlin from Kohl's
Soup Bowl/Mug - "Shamrock" Fiesta(ware) by Homer Laughlin from Kohl's
Flatware - "Primary" Ceramic Handled flatware by Noritake from eBay and Replacements

Bird Table

Since she used the Pier 1 "Field Notes" dinner plate for our other blog, Pat decided to use the salad plate in a different color theme/tone for this week's Table For One.
Pat used green tones for the table - what is fun when you have lots of Pier 1 dinnerware is that you can mix and match their stuff no matter when you bought it.

The charger, the dinner plate, and the accent plate are all from Pier 1 over the last few years

Pat's favorite "go to" green glassware - from the Dollar Store

I love this idea - Pat used bird seed to surround and hold the candle

Where it came from:
Charger - from Pier 1 last year but still available
Dinner Plate - "Ginger" Spice Route from Pier 1 three or four years ago
Salad/Accent Plate - "Field Notes" from Pier 1 this year
Bread/Butter Plate - "White" Fiesta(ware) by Homer Laughlin from Replacements
Flatware - "Sofia Green" by Hampton Forge from Tuesday Morning several years ago
Glassware - from the Dollar Store
Napkin Ring - from the Ferndale Emporium (a local gift boutique) last year
Bird Houses - from TJMaxx last year

Lenox Paisley Terrace Table

Pat decided to set this week's table using one of our single place settings by Lenox. It is called "Paisley Terrace" and was produced from 2011 to 2013.

I shutter in agony when I see "Dishwasher Safe" on the back of supposedly fine china. I can't imagine ever washing any of my china in the dishwasher......besides, I'm one of those "wackos" that really like to wash china by hand.

To continue the glitzy theme, Pat used "Lady Diamond" glassware

Where it came from:
Round Mirror - from Michael's
Silver and Glass Charger - from Pier 1 last year
Dinnerware - "Paisley Terrace" by Lenox from eBay
Glassware - "Lady Diamond" by Cristal d'Arques from Ross years ago
Flatware - by Cambridge from Pier 1 several years ago
Napkin Ring - from Pier 1 two or three years ago
Vase - "Lady Diamond" by Cristal d'Arques from TJMaxx two years ago
Candle Holders - also from TJMaxx two years ago
Ivory Candles - from Bed, Bath, and Beyond
Silk Roses - from Michael's
