Gingerbread Santa Table for One

After selecting the Santa we wanted to use today, it was only a matter of minutes to come up with the place setting:
Over view of the table

Our inspiration Santa

The place setting

We selected the flatware because it was "chubby" - much like the Gingerbread boys. The pattern is called "Pure" by Gourmet Settings

First layer of the place setting is this cute Gingerbread boy from Pier 1 last year (but I saw them there again this year)

The salad plate is olive green (the color is picked up from Santa's pants)

Next layer is a Chocolate Fiestaware Luncheon plate

The dinner plate is by "Food Network" from Kohl's - it's plain and goes with everything

Love this bright, shiny red charger from Pier 1

The napkin ring is a Gingerbread boy ornament attached to a plain brown napkin ring made from PVC pipe and spray painted with Fusion (plastic adhesive) paint

Of course, Santa should have cookies.....

One last look at the table
Where it came from:
Red Glitter Charger - Pier 1 this season
White Dinner Plate - by "Food Network" from Kohl's
Brown Luncheon Plate - "Chocolate" Fiesta by Homer Laughlin from Macy's
Olive Green Salad Plate and Glassware - Pier 1
Flatware - "Pure" by Gourmet Settings from Replacements
Brown Checked and Red Napkins - Pier 1
Gingerbread Ornaments - any place we can find them
Christmas tree, garland and red ornaments - Michael's
Santa - unknown

We will be joining Cuisine Kathleen's "Let's Dish" Wednesday:  http://www.cuisinekathleen.com/
