New Years Eve Table for One

Yes, the last 25 days of Santascapes was a lot of fun, but it's time to move on.....Here's our New Years Eve Table for One:
Over view of the table

The place setting - Pat used an appetizer plate as the bread/butter plate

Gold flatware is used to match the charger and gold on the plates

We have this pattern in both teal and plum. We had to buy it at Replacements.com before our own TJMaxx opened up this year.....YES! finally a TJMaxx....

Bargain of the year.....Pat found the dinner plates and appetizer plates at TJMaxx just before Christmas

As most of you know, we do not have a lot of stores to buy from within a three/four hour driving radius - these gold leaf chargers were bought at Costco years ago

Glitzy and bold.....not something Pat would normally use, but the color is just right

From Pier 1 this year, the napkin ring is elegant

Pat used short crystal candle holders with white candles

No champagne this year.....just a good bottle of wine in a crystal wine coaster

Leopard "Skin" Santa Table for One

Well, it's almost Christmas. We still have lots of Santas to choose from, but Christmas day will be our last Table for One Santascape. It's hard to pick just one as the days count down.....

Yes, it is faux fur.....

We usually use two napkins, but this time folded them separately

Yes, this picture was taken outside - you can see the hole in the fence that my Dachshunds' noses have made and my neighbor's very dead bush that a record breaking frost killed (remember, we live in California) It was so dark inside that I couldn't take a picture.

Beachcomber Santa Table for One

When Linda from A La Carte (http://ljm-alacarte.blogspot.com/) told us, "It's summer somewhere" when we apologized for our Grilling Santascape....), we got up the nerve to do a Beachcomber Santascape. Thanks for the encouragement to step out of the "normal" Christmas mould, Linda.

Natural Bamboo flatware

The bright, flowery accent plate was from Pier 1 a year or two ago

Scarlett Fiesta Dinner plate is from Homer Laughlin

Pat loves this charger - I was not as excited about it when we bought it, but it has grown on me

Not your traditional Christmas tree......
