New Year's Eve Table

It seems glitz and silver are the themes this week for both of our blog's tables celebrating New Years Eve. Pat set the Table for One using Noritake's Crestwood Platinum and added a touch of blue.
It's dark and very stormy outside - the table is as close to the window as it can go......sorry it's a little hard to see.

Silverplate flatware is simple "King James" by Oneida

Pat really liked the napkin ring when she saw it last year at Pier 1.

I must admit that I have a "problem" with supposedly fine china from an old and established company like Noritake made in Sri Lanka......

The blue glass charger is by Bormioli - we found it at Ross years and years ago

Pat used this glass "candlewick-like" charger from Pier 1 to add more glitz

Naturally, the wine bottle has to match (you know Pat...attention to detail.....)

Where it came from:
Silver Beaded Charger - from Pier 1 last year
Blue Charger - by Bormioli from Ross years ago
Dinnerware - "Crestwood Platinum" by Noritake from eBay
Blue Glassware - by Artland Glass Company from Replacements.com
Flatware - "King James" by Oneida from our Mother
Napkin Ring - from Pier 1 last year but available this year also
White Chiffon Overlay - a gift from Pat several years ago
White Napkin - Hand made by Pat
Crystal Wine Bottle Coaster - by Godinger Silver Company from Tuesday Morning
Flower "Vase" - "Lady Diamond" tumbler by Cristal d'Arques from Ross
14" Tapers - from the Ferndale Emporium (a local gift boutique)
Silver Candle Holder - from Pat's collection

We will be joining the following blog parties this week:
"Table It!" at Rustic & Refined this Sunday:  http://www.rustic-refined.com/
"Tablescape Thursday" at Between Naps on the Porch:  http://betweennapsontheporch.net/

  2. Very pretty, the colors are so classic. If I ever get around to setting a tablescape for my blog again these are the colors I want to use. Thank you for the inspiration! Happy New Year!
