Wedgwood Edme and Black Table for One

Wedgwood's "Edme" dinnerware is not only beautiful, but it is so versatile - used for both casual and formal tables. Here's what Pat did with it this week:

Flatware is black "San Remo" from Horchow's

I think that the cup and saucer are so elegant

No matter what I do, black always seems to photograph with a "lint" finish - I actually tried to polish the plate, but to no avail.....

The checked capiz placemat was from Pier 1 years and years ago

Pat uses the butter pat to hold mints instead of butter when she doesn't serve rolls

The glassware is "Fedora" by Spiegelau from Replacements

Our wonderful Cousin gave us "a bunch" of black Depression glass when he didn't have any more room.....WOW! This is just a sample of it.....

  1. I hope the two of you have a happy New Year! I love the dramatic contrast of this table, and I really want those unique checkerboard placemats. I am looking forward to your tabletop creations for 2016!
