Scottish Golfing Santa

Scotland is famous for its golf courses.....and Santa loves the game, so naturally, he would dress in tartan plaid to "hit the links."

Flatware is "Musee" by Reed & Barton

Once again, the napkin ring is hand-crafted. It's made from PVC pipe, fresh greenery, and a golf ball surrounded by red berries.
The golf plate is one of a set of four different "sport" plates from Pottery Barn (an eBay find)

Another "invention" of Pat's - she wanted a certain color and couldn't find it in a pre-made charger. So she took inexpensive lacquer chargers from Michael's on sale and had her dear husband paint them. This is "sand."

Ornament hooks hot glued to golf ball - then attached to the tree

Where it came from:
Tartan Plaid placemat - a gift from a friend
Sage Green Dinner plate - inexpensive ironstone from our local supermarket
Red Luncheon Plate - "Scarlet" Fiesta by Homer Laughlin from Kohl's
White "Golf Ball" Accent Plate - "Game Plan" by Pottery Barn from eBay
Glassware - from Pier 1 this season
Flatware - "Musee" by Reed & Barton from Horchow's
Napkin and Overlay - from Pier 1 two or three years ago
Tree, Glass Cylinder, and Berries - from Michael's
Golf Balls - from eBay
Santa - from our collection
