Royal Albert Brigadoon Table

This week's table was set using a favorite dinnerware place setting from Royal Albert. Produced from 1980 through 1997, "Brigadoon" has beautiful light pink and blue thistles around the fluted rim. Pat paired it with gold flatware and a dark smokey blue charger.

The charger is called "Royal Blue" Color Spectrum by Mikasa - it seems much darker than royal blue to me.....

I love this style of cup - Royal Albert calls it "Montrose" shape

Pat always refers to this pattern from Pier 1 as "Ruffles Have Ridges"

We bought the gold flatware off eBay several years ago - still can't find a pattern name

Where it came from:
Lace Place Mat - from Lentz Department Store (a local store sadly now out of business)
Charger - "Royal Blue" Color Spectrum by Mikasa from Replacements.com
Dinnerware - "Brigadoon" by Royal Albert from eBay
Glassware - from Pier 1 several years ago
Flatware - Pattern unknown from eBay
Gold Napkin Ring - from Bed, Bath, and Beyond two or three years ago
Candle Holders - from Tuesday Morning two years ago
Vase and Salt/Pepper Set - from our Depression Glass collection

We will be joining the following Blog parties this week:
"Dishing It! & Digging It!" at Rustic & Refined this Sunday:  http://www.rustic-refined.com/
"Tablescape Thursday" at Between Naps on the Porch:  http://betweennapsontheporch.net/

  1. I love this! Besides loving all things blue, I have a fondness for things Scottish, such as thistles. This is such a pretty china pattern and your table shows it off beautifully. I'd love to eat at this table for one!
