Butterflies and Fiestaware

Pat's daughter was here this weekend, and just before she left (to drive over three hours back home through rain, mud slides, and road repair - typical Winter weather albeit in April....), she set the Table for One. Naturally, Jennifer used her favorite dinnerware - Fiesta - in lots of different colors.....

Color inspiration came from the bold butterfly napkin ring

Flatware is "Sculpt" by Lenox

This is a "Claret" Salad plate

Next, Jennifer used a Tangerine Luncheon plate

The Dinner and Bread/Butter plates are  "Sea Mist" (1989-2005)

The coral colored charger is actually an inexpensive lacquer one found at Michael's on sale and spray painted with plastic adhesive spray paint. (We paid 69 cents for it - even cheaper than the Dollar Tree.....)

One of our favorite centerpieces - any of Richard Simmons' Nana's Family Dolls. This one is called "Herb the Nerd."

Where it came from:
Apricot Hemstitch Place Mat - from Pier 1 last year
Coral Charger - Inexpensive lacquer charger spray painted
Dinner Plate and Bread and Butter Plate - "Sea Mist" (1989-2005) Fiesta(ware) by Homer Laughlin from Replacements.com and eBay
Luncheon Plate - "Tangerine" (2003-2018) Fiesta(ware) by Homer Laughlin from Kohl's
Salad Plate - "Claret" (2016-2018) Fiesta(ware) by Homer Laughlin from Macy's last year
Flatware - "Sculpt" by Lenox from Tuesday Morning last year
Glassware - from Pier 1 several years ago
Figurine - Richard Simmons' Nana's Family Collection from our Mother
Candle Holders - by Abingdon Pottery from our collection

  1. What a pretty spring table! I love the butterfly napkin ring, and all the pretty colors in the plates that echo it. It would be a delight to eat at this table. Happy spring!
