A Spotted Table for One

Pat wanted to do a whimsical table this week and decided to use a dish pattern that I love - it's called "Kate" from Pier 1. I haven't seen it used on any blogs to set tables (except one of our Santa/Christmas tables last December), but it's a unique pattern and easily mixes with other colors to make interesting and fun tablescapes.

The place setting

Flatware is "Pure" by Gourmet Settings

Glassware is "Sphere" from Pier 1 - it has a fun base that goes well with the spotted dinner plate

The red footed bowl is "Fun Factory" by Waechtersbach

Not one of Pat's favorites (she actually dislikes the pattern) but I love it....it is called "Kate" from Pier 1

One last look at the table
Where it came from:
Tablecloth - gift from Pat
Flatware - "Pure" by Gourmet Settings from eBay
Red Charger - "Red Fun Factory" by Waechtersbach from Replacements
Black Dinner Plate - "Black Fun Factory" by Waechtersbach from Tuesday Morning
Spotted Dinnerware - "Kate" from Pier 1
Black and Red Liner/Bread and Butter Plates - Fiesta by Homer Laughlin from Replacements
Red Bowl - by Waechtersbach from Replacements
Candle Holders - (Black Depression Glass) a gift from our Cousin
14" Tapers - from the Ferndale Emporium (a local boutique and gift shop)
Silk Roses - Michael's
Black Napkin Ring - PVC pipe cut into 1" rounds and spray painted with "Fusion" spray paint (Pat's very patient and talented husband has cut hundred of these and spray painted them to go with every/any tablescape we can come up with)
Napkins - Hand made by Pat

We will be joining Susan at "Between Naps on the Porch" this Thursday:  http://betweennapsontheporch.net/

  3. I like this tablescape's contemporary design. The black, white and red really pop and the sleek designs of the flatware and glasses really compliment the look.
