The table

Flatware is "King James" Silverplate by Oneida
For the first layer of the place setting, Pat used a cream soup bowl and liner in the "Bell Heather" pattern
I love the textured rim of the "Newport" Salad plate
And the rim of the "Bell Heather" dinner plate is also gorgeous
The purple glass charger is slightly textured
Remember these glasses? I think everyone attended a Princess House party at one time or another
The creamer and sugar bowl
This is a "Newport" sherbet and liner
The small luncheon napkin (part of a set of 12) was a gift from our cousin years ago
We found these frosted amethyst candle holders on eBay a few months ago

The china is gorgeous and I love it mixed with the Amethyst is a perfect mix. I always look forward to your tables and your amazing collection of dishes!
ReplyDeleteWOW....totally stunning. I am loving that amethyst charger! What a beautiful table for one....great job.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful table. I love the double handled soup bowls. This Royal Doulton is a pattern that I haven't seen before. Lovely.
ReplyDeleteThat charger! It's beautiful!!! I am particularly fond of glass chargers. They always add a little something extra to the table. Maybe it's the reflection from the glass...I don't know. This one, though, has that fabulous color going for it along with that magnificent texture. Big wow!!!
ReplyDeleteI just love it that you have this blog to show those who are dining alone - by choice or by fate - that it can still be a wonderful, beautiful, enlightened experience. It really shows people how to treat themselves!
Your table is a treat for the eyes. I LOVE the china and how well it coordinates with your amethyst glassware. And I'm drooling over your linen napkins with their delicate pattern. A beautiful set-up. Thanks for sharing. Rosie @ The Magic Hutch
