Fiestaware Meets the Dollar Tree Table

Who says you can't set a nice table using inexpensive dinnerware and glasses? Pat's daughter bought a place setting from the Dollar Tree and brought it with her when she came to visit last month just to "play with" - it featured multiple colors in paisley so it had lots to work with. Here's one place setting that she and Pat came up with:

Flatware is "Vintage Countryside" by Ricci

The place setting starts with a "Lapis" Fiesta(ware) Gusto bowl

Our Dollar Tree store just started to carry salad plates to go with some of the dinner plates

The first charger is a "Lapis" Fiesta(ware) Chop plate

The wooden distressed square charger is from Pier 1 three or four years ago

One of our favorite "go to" glass sets - from the Dollar Tree

The green glass candle holders are part of our Depression Glass collection

Where it came from:
Square Wooden Charger - from Pier 1 four years ago
Blue Charger - "Lapis" Fiesta(ware) Chop Plate by Homer Laughlin from Replacements.com
Dinner and Salad Plate - from the Dollar Tree last year
Soup Bowl - "Lapis" Fiesta(ware) Gusto Bowl by Homer Laughlin from Kohl's
Flatware - "Vintage Countryside" by Ricci from Tuesday Morning two years ago

  1. I like those Dollar Tree plates but the addition of the lovely "Lapis" Fiestaware pieces make this a very special table. And of course, it's my favorite color - blue!
