Patricia by Spode Table for One

This week's table can best be described as "sweet." Pat used an old fashion Spode pattern called "Patricia" and updated it slightly by using a cobalt blue charger and glass. She added a small Armani figurine with a silk rose flower arrangement to complete the tablescape.

The place setting

Flatware is blue "San Remo" by Hampton Forge Co. from Horchow's

Pat received this pattern from her husband's wonderfully eccentric Aunt - you know the kind of Aunt everyone wishes they had. Less than five feet tall and living in San Francisco all her adult life, Annie always carried a huge, heavy purse to "ward off the mashers." I adored her.......

Not being one of Pat's favorite Spode patterns, I had to talk her in to using it.

Pat "pulled out" the blue from the plate when she chose this charger

Armani and roses - what could go better together? Pat used a small Armani figurine from our Mother's collection.

Sorry about the sun's reflection - naturally, it was the ONLY time the sun shined that day
