Viola the Prize Winning Pig Table for One

Pat was searching for a theme this week and decided on "pigs." Yes, I said pigs. She spotted Viola, my prize winning ceramic pig that I made 40 years ago, way in the back on a shelf and knew that she was the inspiration for the table this week. I hadn't thought about Viola in years.....but there she was - sitting on the table waiting for dishes. Here is what Pat came up with:
The table

You can't help but smile when you eat off this plate

Pat's husband spray paints inexpensive lacquer chargers for us in any color we can find. This one is called "nutmeg."

Sassy! That's Viola....no wonder she won First Prize at the ceramic show years ago.

Where it came from:
Charger - inexpensive lacquer charger from Michael's that was spray pained with plastic adhesive spray paint
Dishware - "Ol' McDonald" by American Atelier from eBay
Bread/Butter Plate - Chocolate Fiesta by Homer Laughlin from Replacements
Flatware - "Montana" by Gourmet Settings from Bed, Bath, and Beyond
Yellow and White Checked Napkin - from Pier 1 two years ago
Individual Salt/Pepper Shakers - from Pier 1 last year
Napkin Ring - Handmade
Glassware/Vase - "Starfire Ivy" by Anchor Hocking from Ross
