Cinco de Mayo Table for One

To me, celebrating Cinco de Mayo means great food and a colorful table. This year is no exception.
Over view of the table

The place setting

Flatware is "Hammer Handle" by Godinger Silver

Pat used a simple water glass (from the Dollar Store) and a small 12oz. pilsner (we looked for a very long time for small pilsners - ever notice how most of them are huge? People must drink a lot of beer....) Tiny red chilis hang from the napkin to add a touch of color.

First layer of the place setting is a brightly colored bowl - "Chili Peppers" by Laurie Gates

Next layer is a Waechtersbach yellow salad plate

You can tell why the pattern is called "Chili Peppers" from the dinner plate

Pat used two chargers - this is actually the dinner plate in this pattern but it is too larger for a normal plate so Pat usually uses it for a charger

Sorry for the glare - but this is a beautiful blue metal charger from Pier 1

One last look
Where it came from:
Blue Metallic Charger - Pier 1
Dinnerware - "Chili Peppers" by Laurie Gates for Sakura from Macy's
Yellow Salad Plate and Mug - "Fun Factory" by Waechtersbach
Flatware - "Hammer Handle" by Godinger Silver from Costco
Water Glass - from the Dollar Store
Beer Pilsner - by Circleware from Ross
Napkin, Votive Holders, and Tea Lights - from Bed, Bath, and Beyond
Chip Holder - from Avon

We will be joining Susan at "Between Naps on the Porch" this Thursday:  http://betweennapsontheporch.net/
