A Very Orange Tablescape

With record high temperatures and no rain, things have "heated up" a bit locally. The almost unbearable weather inspired Pat's choice for the tablescape this week:
Over view of the table

The place setting

Flatware is the very unusual "Pure" by Gourmet Settings

Pat chose the perfect napkin - orange and pink

The dishware is "Fiesta" - the salad plate and dinner plate are "Tangerine"

Pat chose a "Flamingo" colored Luncheon plate

The charger is a Depressionware "Oxford" Torte plate by MacBeth-Evans Glass Company

Glasses are orange "Moonlight" by Circleware

Only thing growing in my yard - Straw flowers (very hardy even without water)

What could be classier than an orange under glass?

The orange candle holders are inexpensive unfinished wood ones from Michael's

We will be joining Susan at "Between Naps on the Porch" this Thursday:

  1. I love this table, as I love all things bright and cheerful. The orange and pink color combination makes me smile (although I may have to wear sunglasses while eating at his setting!) and I really like that quirky orange glass used as a vase. We have been having a spell of hot weather here in Georgia as well, but at least the humidity is low for a change, which makes it more bearable. We are expecting rain this weekend, though, so I hope you get some in your area as well!

  2. Fabulous!! I love hot pink and orange!!

  3. Love all the orange and it looks great with the pink. Score!

  4. LOVE the brightness of this table. Orange and pink is such an unexpectedly excellent combination. You've created a stunning picture again. Thanks for sharing. Rosie @ The Magic Hutch
P.S. Have you ladies ever done a post on where you store all your tablescaping components? I'd love to see how you have it all organized. I'm sure I'm not alone with this request.

    1. Thank you, Rosie, for your wonderful comment. Yes, and with much embarrassment, Pat and I joined Alma, The Tablescaper, last year for her 4th annual blogaversary party and posted where we put some of our stuff (at least the stuff at my house.) - we do have a "dish" problem. I "came out" of the closet with my addiction then. It was quite an eye-opener.......

  5. Nicely done. I discovered your blog while testing SEO for my blog A Single Table. I definitely will return for ideas in my home.

  6. Wow what neat colors where ever do you find orange glassware? and the flatware whoa is that cool.Susie
