Garden Books and Lunch Table

Pat couldn't think of a better way to spend lunchtime than reading garden books in anticipation of Spring.

Flatware is "April" silverplate by International Silver Company

The charger is a "Fiesta Meadow" chop plate by Homer Laughlin

Smaller, simple glassware from the Dollar Tree worked best for the place setting

This book by my very favorite garden expert - Adrian Bloom - is my go-to source for inspiration each year

Where it came from:
Charger - "Fiesta Meadow" by Homer Laughlin from Replacements.com
Dinnerware - "Pembroke" by Aynsley (1985-2015) from Replacements.com
Flatware - "April" silverplate by International Silver from Pat's collection
Glassware - from the Dollar Tree three or four years ago
Candle Holders - Green "Swirl" Depression Glass by the Imperial Glass Company from eBay
Ceramic Hummingbird Napkin Ring - from Art & Old Things (a local antique and gift store)
Green Hemstitch Napkin - from Pier 1 two or three years ago

This week, we will be joining "Tablescape Thursday" at Between Naps on the Porch:  http://betweennapsontheporch.net/

  1. How pretty! Makes me long for spring! Snow has been falling here all morning so it's nice to think about spring.
