Catching Butterflies Table

Most people love to go outside and see butterflies fluttering around the yard - I don't see as many the last few years, but I continue to plant flowers that are suppose to attract them. Pat pulled out a napkin that she made several years ago and set the table featuring these beautiful little creatures.
Seems like we just used Fiesta dinnerware last week, but with the colorful napkin, it was the obvious choice to use this week

Pat found this adorable Richard Simmons "Nana's Family" figurine that belonged to our Mother  in my cabinet - she thought it went well....

I've always said that the detail on all these dolls is incredible

Where it came from:
Bright Pink Charger - Inexpensive lacquer charger spray painted with plastic adhesive paint
Dinnerware - All Fiesta(ware) by Homer Laughlin from Macy's, Kohl's, and Replacements.com
Flatware - "Silver Tear" by Gourmet Settings from TJMaxx last year
Glassware - "Samba" by Libby from Ross several years ago
Napkin - Handmade by Pat
Napkin Ring - from Tuesday Morning two years ago
Candle - from Pier 1 two years ago
Glass Candle Holder - from TJMaxx
Butterflies - from the Dollar Store
Figurine - from our Mother's collection of Richard Simmons "Nana's Family" dolls

We will be joining the following Blog parties this week:
"Dishing It! & Digging It!" at Rustic & Refined this Sunday:  http://www.rustic-refined.com/
"Tablescape Thursday" at Between Naps on the Porch:  http://betweennapsontheporch.net/

  2. I do like your Fiesta. I have the odd vintage piece, but have been considering getting some newer pieces. I just love the colours.

  3. Oh, these pretty colors! And the napkin is so bright and cheerful - but that's what butterflies are, right? I love this tablescape, and it makes me want some Fiesta plates. :-)
