Springtime Table

The only way to describe this week's table is "an accident." Pat was going to use a light blue glass charger on our other blog's table last week, but in the middle of setting it, she changed her mind. Well, as it would happen, the stack of chargers just sat on the counter with a bunch of other unused dishes waiting to be put away.....until Pat pulled out one of our "single" place settings to set the Table for One this week. Here's what she came up with:

Where it came from:
Light Blue Glass Charger - from Pier 1 last year
Dinnerware - "Coniston" by Royal Doulton (1974-1998) from our collection of individual place settings
Flatware - "April" by Wm Rogers & Son
Blue Water Glass - "Navarre" by Fostoria from Pat
Wine Glass - from the Dollar Store
Bird Napkin Ring - from the Ferndale Emporium (a local gift boutique)
Small White Birds - by Lefton China (from our Mother)

We will be joining the following blog parties this week:
"Dishing It! & Digging It!" at Rustic & Refined this Sunday:  http://www.rustic-refined.com/
"Tablescape Thursday" at Between Naps on the Porch:  http://betweennapsontheporch.net/

  2. This table is precious. The soft blues and beautiful floral design; the lovely chargers and flatware. Precious is the best word I can come up with. Perfect for a spring day tablescape. Rosie @ The Magic Hutch
