Lenox "Forever" Table

Pat decided to feature another one of our single place settings this week. She selected Lenox "Forever" - I think it is one of Lenox's prettiest patterns using platinum. Fortunately (or unfortunately depending on how you look at it) I am running out of room to store dishes - otherwise I would buy this pattern in a heartbeat (causing another "dishware-induced coronary" to some members of my family.....) Anyway, here's the table:
Pat mixed metals for this table. The flatware, water glass, and martini/wine glass are shiny stainless steel.

Flatware is Reed & Barton "Everyday"

The plate features a single black and white rose on Lenox's signature off white/cream colored plate.

The charger is black "Color Spectrum" by Mikasa

Another Armani figurine from our Mother's collection

Where it came from:
Silver Placemat - from Bed, Bath, and Beyond last year
Flatware - "Everyday" by Reed & Barton
Dinnerware - "Forever" by Lenox (1977-1981) from our collection
Stainless Steel Glassware - from Pier 1
Black Champagne Flute - "Jet Black" by Artland from Replacements
Black Napkin - Handmade by Pat
Black Candle Holders - by Westmoreland Glass Company from our collection
Cream colored Candles - from Michael's

We will be joining the following Blog parties this week:
"Dishing It and Digging It!" at Rustic & Refined this Sunday:  http://www.rustic-refined.com/
"Tablescape Thursday" at Between Naps on the Porch:  http://betweennapsontheporch.net/

  1. Wonderful details on your table Pat & Katie. I love how you added a modern touch with the glassware and turning the placemat so it's on the diagonal. Stunning table....

    Have a great week!

  2. Delightful. I understand about running out of room for more dishes!! I never thought about Lenox signature being off white/cream plates but it holds true of my knowledge of their patterns. Nice to learn something new everyday.
