Farm Table for One

It seems that we are "stuck" in one tablescape theme this week - roosters. Why not test your tablescaping skills and see what you can come up with using the same inspiration piece? That's just what Pat did with this week's table:
It's County Fair time in our area - the perfect table to celebrate

Flatware is Ceramic handled "Iron Brown" by Noritake

Glassware is "Espresso" by Lenox

Pat used "Ivory" and "Lemongrass" Fiesta dinnerware to match the accent plate

Hard to find - brown lacquer chargers.....Pat's dear husband spray painted inexpensive chargers from Michael's for us

Another one of our Mother's dolls from "Nana's Family" - from Richard Simmons

Pat wrapped a lemongrass colored napkin in a demin napkin that matches the placemat. The napkin ring is a PVC pipe cut into 1" rounds and spray painted with Fusion plastic adhesive spray paint (another "project" from Pat's husband.)

Where it came from:
Denim placemat and matching napkin - Handmade by Pat
Brown Charger - inexpensive lacquer charger from Michael's sale bin spray painted
Assorted Fiesta Dinnerware - by Homer Laughlin from Macy's and Replacements (all of our Fiesta Bread/Butter plates come from Replacements)
Accent Plate - "Ol' McDonald" by American Atelier from eBay
Glassware - "Espresso" by Lenox (a gift from my niece from whom I borrowed her Lenox "Mansfield" chargers years ago and probably will never "remember" to return.....)
Ceramic Handled Flatware - "Iron Brown" by Noritake (I've had for over 35 years)
Figurine - by Annie Wahl for Richard Simmons (part of our Mother's "Nana's Family" collection)
Wind Mill - from Art & Old Things (our favorite local Antique store)
Brown Salt/Pepper Shakers - found at JoAnn's Fabrics years ago

  1. You have the best collection of dishes and great figurines to decorate with. This one is really cute!

  2. Such a cute table for summer, those goblets are such a warm beautiful color. That windmill is just too cute, I'd have never thought of adding it.

    Great job!
