Gray Day Table for One

Pat has been looking for a "good" gray dinner plate for a long time - one that would be versatile (able to be used on both formal and casual tables), easy to mix with other patterns, and most important to all tablescapers, inexpensive. She hit the mother lode when she found nine place settings of Dansk's "The Burbs" dishware at Tuesday Morning the other day and quickly purchased them. Naturally, she used eight of them on our other blog and just had to use the last one on the Table for One.
The table - the salad plate by Dansk may have been the inspiration piece but Pat quickly found other things around the house to mix with it.

Rose Fiesta was the perfect accent color to mix with gray

The flatware is one of my favorite - "Classic Bead" Stainless Steel by Reed & Barton

I love the look of this modern glassware - from Pier 1 a few years ago

  3. The rose fiesta next to the grey is striking, love it! Tuesday Morning is such a great store for picking up dishes too, it's one of my favorite stops to make too!

  4. Christine shared this on Google+ so dropped by to say how lovely this table setting is, such soft and serene colors. I haven't been to Tuesday morning in a couple of months, I think it is time to pay them a visit!

  6. i've always been a fan of pink and gray and you've reinforced my love for it with this table. Gray is really making a comeback in the design world judging by the programs on TLC and HGTV. Best to both of you,
