Baby Elephant Walk TFO

This week's table features an elephant figurine that Pat and I bought at the Cancer Society's Discovery Thrift Store a few years ago. I just had to have it - I don't know why - but, then it sat on a shelf collecting dust. Well, finally, we are using it on a table.
The table

Where it came from:
Placemat - from Pier 1
Charger - Inexpensive lacquer charger from Michael's spray painted gray
Black Dinner Plate - "Fun Factory" by Waechtersbach from Tuesday Morning

Glassware - "Jet Black" by Reizart from Replacements
Black Salt/Pepper Shakers, Vase, and Candle Holders - Depressionware from eBay
Silver Gray Candles - from Pier 1

  1. I love this table! The baby elephant figurine is adorable, as is the elephant plate, and I like the simple color scheme. I never did thank you for your kind message about my dog Gia. She is doing better, but progress has been slow and she had a couple of setbacks at the beginning. She is home now and requires a lot of care, but we are hopeful she can recover. I still enjoy visiting your tablescapes when I have a few spare minutes, and look forward to the new ones every week. Keep them coming, please!

  2. Where do I start. this tablescape is AMAZING. I love elephants so I had to check it out. But everything is gorgeous, from your plates (all of them) to your napkin rings, glassware, flatware. And who couldn't love that little elephant!

  3. I left a comment earlier which apparently got "eaten" by the internet, so will try again. I love this table and the elephant plates are amazing. I can hear my sister playing "Baby Elephant Walk" on the piano as I scroll through your pics. Lovely table!
