Elios Platter Table for One

Every once in a while, you meet someone who shares your passion for plates - maybe not to the extreme that you do - but Pat is fortunate enough to have met someone who is always on the "lookout" for something interesting for her to use on a table. This week, she lent Pat a pair of very unique Italian platters by Elios Ceramica to play with.....here is what Pat decided to do with just one of them.

The detail on the seafood platter is stunning. Elios Ceramica is famous for beautiful and detailed tile work but also make exclusive, upscale dinnerware.

Flatware is "Everyday" by Reed & Barton - it's simple and sleek

Pat took the "lemongrass" color from the placemat - this is a Fiestaware Bread and Butter plate

Where it came from:
Placemat - from Tuesday Morning
Flatware - "Everyday" by Reed & Barton from Bed, Bath, and Beyond
Italian Platter - by Elios Ceramica from Pat's "Relay for Life" friend
Bread/Butter Plate - Lemongrass Fiesta by Homer Laughlin from Replacements
Clear Water Goblet - from the Dollar Store
Blue Wine Goblet - from "Tailwaggers" (a local thrift shop that supports animal rescue)
Napkin - Handmade by Pat
Blue Tea Light Holders - Bed, Bath, and Beyond
Tea Lights, Shells, and Sea Glass - Michael's

We will be joining Christine's "Table It!" this Monday at Rustic & Refined:  http://www.rustic-refined.com/
We will also be joining Susan for "Tablescape Thursday" at Between Naps on the Porch this Thursday:  http://betweennapsontheporch.net/

  2. I love the colors on your table, and that platter is fabulous! Great idea to use it as the dinner plate - plenty of room for all kinds of seafood plus side dishes. This table made me want to visit the beach, until I happened to see the movie "Jaws" on TV last night. I had never watched this movie before, and now I'm feeling beach-phobic! Thanks a lot, "Shark Week"!
