Apple Festival Time Table for One

One of the very few advantages of living in a small, rural community is the fun, family events that frequently take place. Pat is getting ready for the 29th annual Fortuna Apple Harvest Festival ( http://sunnyfortuna.com/festivals/apple/) by setting this week's table with an apple theme. (I'm afraid that hayrides, Barbershop quartet singing, Dutch Oven challenges, Fire bucket contests, and a host of other "home town" events don't really appeal to me, so I will be skipping it - again - this year.....)

The place setting

This is as close to a bunch of apples as I want to get......

The dark olive green dinner plate is "Spice Route" Clove from Pier 1

Pat's husband spray painted an inexpensive lacquer charger with Paprika Rustoleum spray paint for plastics

Glassware is from Pier 1 also.

One last look
Where it came from:

  3. Oh, my, what a fun tablescape! I love those salad plates and the way you have highlighted them with the olive green dinner plate and red charger. But, I'm drooling over those votive candle holders! They're perfect for an apple-themed table (look like stems!) and are so different! Well done! Rosie @ The Magic Hutch

  7. This table reminds me of eating apples and how the wonderful juice used to run down my chin when I was a kid. or how I used to try and wiping my mouth with my sleeve without getting caught....LOL

    What an adorable table!
