Spode Mayflower Table

This week's table was set with a lovely pattern of lavender transferware with a floral center called "Mayflower" and was produced by Spode beginning around 1929. (It was reintroduced in 2004 with production stopping in 2005.) Pat paired it with a lavender charger, lavender napkin, and lavender candles.

Flatware is "April" silverplate by International Silver Co.

The cream soup bowl and liner sit on the salad plate

The lavender charger is just an inexpensive plastic charger spray painted with glossy plastic adhesive spray paint

Notice the glass rims - they are really unusual (and unfortunately, not very practical to use)

Any meal is better when Betty Boop is on hand.....from my collection

Where it came from:
Ecru Lace Place Mat - from a local Department store several years ago now out of business
Lavender Charger - Inexpensive lacquer charger spray painted to match
Dinnerware - "Mayflower" by Spode from eBay
Glassware - from Pier 1 several years ago
Lavender Napkin - from Linen Tablecloth (Here) this year (it's worth checking out the website just for the picture gallery of tables)
Flatware - "April" Silverplate by International Silver
Candles - from the Ferndale Emporium (a local kitchen and giftware store)
Figurine - from my collection

This week, we will be joining "Tablescape Thursday" at Between Naps on the Porch:  http://betweennapsontheporch.net/
