Noritake Reina Tablescape

Inspiration for both of our blogs' tablescapes this week came from the tablecloth. Pat used a sweet, flowery overlay on top of a white tablecloth as the foundation for the Table for One. Then she tried several patterns of dinnerware (mostly solid colors) - but chose white Noritake "Reina" and a sage green charger.

Flatware is "Sophia" by Argent (Hampton Silversmiths)

Instead of a napkin ring, Pat placed a pink silk rose on the napkin

Although it is hard to see, Reina has white flowers and leaves on the edge of the plate with a thin platinum trim

The charger is a favorite - from Pier 1 a few years ago

Where it came from:
Sheer Overlay - from LinenTablecloth.com (a really neat mail order site for lots of inexpensive table linens)
Dinnerware - "Reina" by Noritake [1963-1983] from our Mother's collection
Glass Sage Charger - from Pier 1 three or four years ago
Flatware - "Sophia" by Hampton Silversmiths Argent from Tuesday Morning years ago
Glassware - "Fedora" by Spiegelau from Replacements.com
Flower Vase - "Lady Diamond" tumbler by Cristal d'Arques from Ross years ago
Candle Holders - Depression glass from our collection
Silk Roses - from Michael's last year

We will be joining the following Blog parties this week:

  1. So, so pretty! I love the green charger and flatware. Could they be a more perfect match? I don't think so.
