Purple Easter Table

Although it feels more like Winter outside (with another rainstorm, hail coming down, wind blowing with gust of 45-50 miles per hour, snow in parts of the county, and to top it all off, several small earthquakes all week....it's been some ride with the house shaking - you don't know if it is wind or quake...), Pat still set a beautiful Easter table this week. So, as I sit here bundled up with two sweatshirts over my sweatsuit, two pair of socks, heater full blast, waiting for the lights to go out, I decided I better write up this week's blog while I can......

This is one of my very favorite single place settings that we have collected -"Wild Violets" by Aynsley

This wicker-like place mat was originally a very ugly orange/yellow. I bought all that Pier 1 had for less than a dollar each. With a little spray paint, I can change them to any color I need.

Where it came from:
Place Mat - from Pier 1 several years ago
Dinnerware - "Wild Violets" by Aynsley from eBay
Flatware - "April" by Wm Rogers & Son from Pat
Glassware - from Pier 1 two years ago
Silver Napkin Ring - from Tuesday Morning last year
Purple Napkin - Handmade by Pat
Napkin Overlay - a gift from Pat
Purple Candles - from Ross
Glass Candle Holders - from TJMaxx last year
White Bunnies - from Tuesday Morning two years ago

We will be joining the following Blog parties this week:
"Dishing It! & Digging It!" at Rustic & Refined this Sunday:  http://www.rustic-refined.com/
"Tablescape Thursday" at Between Naps on the Porch:  http://betweennapsontheporch.net

  1. So many shades of purple - lilac, amethyst, lavender! So pretty all together! I have similar plates and you've given me some ideas.

  3. Oh, I'm in love with this! Violets are my favorite flower, and this china pattern is beyond gorgeous. I've seen pictures of the cup and saucer but not the plates. (Add something else to my ebay search list!) I hope your weather improves there, Happy Easter to you and your sister.
