Spode Pink Tower Lunch

Spode Pink Tower has been around for a very long time. The Tower pattern has been produced in a variety of different colors from black to purple, to blue, to brown, to green, and even multicolor  variations.  I started to collect it after my dear "dish addiction enabling" cousin bought me some pieces as a gift. Big mistake.....I love it and can't stop buying it.

Anyway, Pat decided to use it this week to set a sweet but elegant luncheon place setting:
You don't need flowers or a fancy centerpiece when you set a table with such a pretty pattern.

Flatware is "Grand Colonial" sterling silver by Wallace. Our Cousin gave us a set of eight 5-piece place settings. WOW!

Since this was a luncheon setting, Pat used a casual "Cinnabar" Fiesta(ware) chop plate as a charger.

Where it came from:
Charger - "Cinnabar" Fiesta(ware) by Homer Laughlin from Replacements
Dinnerware - "Pink Tower" by Spode from various places (gifts, eBay, Replacements, antique stores)
Flatware - "Grand Colonial" by Wallace Silver Company gifted from my Cousin
Glassware - "Monterey" by Cristal d'Arques from Ross
Candle Holders - by Mikasa from Tuesday Morning
Butterfly Napkin Ring - from Tuesday Morning
Burgundy Napkin - Handmade by Pat
Candles - from Bed, Bath, and Beyond

We will be joining the following Blog parties this week:

  1. Love! What a gift, to receive the Wallace 8 place settings. It's beautiful, and so is the Spode. Love the use of the Fiesta as charger.

  3. What a lovely table setting (as usual!). The Fiesta charger sets off the pink transferware so well, and you're right, it's so pretty it doesn't need an elaborate centerpiece. Another beautiful table for one!
