Anyway, this week's table is a prelude for what's to come:
The table - Santa is "going down" the chimney with Raggedy Ann under his arm....
|
Pat used vintage Cobalt blue Fiesta and Scarlet dinnerware to match Santa and Raggedy Ann
|
Flatware is simple "Everyday" by Reed & Barton
|
Not a favorite of Pat's, this Maryland China charger works well with the place setting
|
Pat used a thin red ribbon and ornament as a napkin ring to hold a red and white napkin
|
Nothing fancy about this place setting - Pat used a tumbler and matching juice glass
|
See you Tuesday.......

What a sweet place setting! I love Raggedy Ann and Andy...great inspiration! And your Santa and tree are great too! Thanks for sharing, ~Zuni
ReplyDeleteI love this table. I have always been a Raggedy Ann fan. In fact, every grandchild has gotten a Raggedy Ann or Andy on their very first Christmas. I love your challenge you have going on and look forward to seeing your tables. It must be so very nice to have a sister who loves this hobby as much as you do. I'm sure these December tables will be treats!! Rosie @ The Magic Hutch
ReplyDeleteAdorable table. Love the idea of a setting for one. When Pat gets really weary of the Maryland China Chargers, I will gladly relieve her of the "burden" of them. Ha!
ReplyDeleteI love table scsping, finding unique dishs, silverware, glasses, etc and using all of them. I collect like ladies do with shoes and purses...my husband had to install tall cupboards in the garage to house it all. I change out my dishes for every holiday, occasion, and season for everyday use. My grandmother always said, " if your table is set beautifully, nobody will notice/ care if the food is burnt"....I took that to heart....love seeing your creative ideas
ReplyDeleteHow fun! Your Santa and tree with all the gifts and toys really get me in the mood for Christmas to get here soon! Thanks for sharing your lovely set-up. :-)
ReplyDeleteSweet!!
ReplyDeleteHow charming, beautiful and yet so adorable. Love this post.
