Autumn Sunflower and Rooster Table

Having gone in a totally different direction for our other blog, we thought we should probably set an Autumn table for the Table For One this week since it is already October.
Our first Autumn table

Flatware is simple "Everyday" by Reed & Barton

We handmade the napkin ring - Pat's husband cut PVC pipe into 1" rounds and then we hot glued a silk sunflower on it

I couldn't resist the new sunflower pattern at Pier 1 this season......

Seems like an advertisement for Pier 1, I know, but we actually bought these chargers last year. Goes to show you that you can mix their stuff up a bit....

Pat bought the flatware at Bed, Bath, and Beyond years ago. It's simple design makes it easy to use on almost any table.

Everyone knows that I love Bread/Butter plates....together, Pat and I have 31 different colors [eight or more of each color] of Fiesta Bread and Butter plates alone.....

Pat thought I was nuts when I saw this rooster and just had to have him....

Another Pier 1 purchase, but this time, it was years ago.

Pat found these vintage candle holders at a thrift store

Where it all came from:
Dinnerware - "Sunflower Blooms" from Pier 1 this season
Wooden Charger - From Pier 1 but purchased last year
Amber Glassware - Also from Pier 1 but purchased three or four years ago
Flatware - "Everyday" by Reed & Barton from Bed, Bath, and Beyond
Bread/Butter Plate - Vintage Forest Green Fiesta (1951-1959) by Homer Laughlin from Replacements
Napkins - from Tuesday Morning
Napkin Ring - Handmade from PVC pipe cut into 1" rounds and a silk sunflower hot glued on it
Candle Holders - Vintage amber Depressionware from our collection
Candles - Beige House Candles from the Ferndale Emporium (one of our favorite local stores)
Rooster - from Art & Old Things (another really neat local boutique)
Greenery, Vegetables, Etc. - Michael's

What a great idea for making napkin rings!! I think I'm making a "honey-do list" for my hubby! Thanks for sharing and have a good week. Rosie @ The Magic Hutch
