Father's Day Table for One

Pat had a great time setting the table this week for Father's Day. Since our Dad was a professional Chef (never one to put on airs, he always called himself a "cook") it was easy to pull out some of his old personal cookbooks and kitchen equipment to decorate the table.
The table

What could more perfect that a wooden spoon? Pat used a simple black napkin ring (made from PVC pipe and spray painted black) to hold it

Of course, a checkered plate to match the Chef's pants

Very, very old, Pat found these cookbooks and old knife among Dad's stuff
