Father's Day Table for One

Pat had a great time setting the table this week for Father's Day. Since our Dad was a professional Chef (never one to put on airs, he always called himself a "cook") it was easy to pull out some of his old personal cookbooks and kitchen equipment to decorate the table.
The table

What could more perfect that a wooden spoon? Pat used a simple black napkin ring (made from PVC pipe and spray painted black) to hold it

Of course, a checkered plate to match the Chef's pants

Very, very old, Pat found these cookbooks and old knife among Dad's stuff

  1. I love the black and white with that pop of red!

  2. It's really fun to see how the chef's pants and the plate are both check!!

  3. Love the masculine, yet whimsical look, and the chef is awesome!
