Beating The Winter Blues Tablescape

Even though we are going through a horrible, horrible drought at the moment, most of the nation is experiencing typical winter weather. Pat decided to "beat the blues" with a colorful table:

The place setting

Flatware is "Montana" by Gourmet Settings

To beat the Winter blues, Pat chose three different colors for the glassware (we might not have water, but Pat is making allowances for "other liquids" - she said enough of that and we won't care if we have water or not.........only my sister.......)

Purple, Yellow, Periwinkle Blue, Tangerine, and Rose........

Pat used a Waechtersbach dinner plate instead of Fiesta Yellow - it is much brighter

Nothing dull about the napkin, either

Where it came from:
Colorful Placemat - Pier 1
Flatware - "Montana" by Gourmet Settings from Bed, Bath, and Beyond
Purple Charger - Inexpensive Lacquer charger spray painted with Fusion Spray Paint
Yellow Dinner Plate - "Fun Factory" Yellow by Waechtersbach from Replacements.com
Luncheon, Salad, Bread/Butter Plate and Cup/Saucer - Assorted Fiesta by Homer Laughlin from eBay, Macy's, and Replacements
Glassware - TJMaxx and Ross
Votive/Tea Light Holders - Bed, Bath, and Beyond
Napkin - Handmade by Pat
Napkin Ring - Wooden Round spray painted hot pink
Purple Flower Vase - from Pat's collection

We will be joining Susan at "Between Naps on the Porch" this Thursday:  http://betweennapsontheporch.net/

  2. There's no such thing as too much color for me, so I absolutely love this. Color is the ultimate happy for me.
