A Hot Pink Charger Tablescape

What was Pat thinking of???? Hot Pink for a charger? Yes, it looks great. And believe it or not, it is truly versatile as you can see by the tables below. Pat set three different place settings - each unique and attractive.

First - an over view of the three tables:
Hot pink with Fiestaware

Hot pink with Schumann China

Hot pink with Black

This is the Hot Pink Charger that Pat challenged herself with when she came up with the tablescapes:
Here's a close up of the details of each table:

Hot Pink with Fiestaware
Pat used Shamrock Green and Rose colored Fiestaware

Heavy, thick style glassware works well

Bamboo style flatware adds a "lightweight" feel to the setting

The five piece place setting

Pat used two napkins - a bright green and pink pattern coupled with a hot pink one

The napkin ring is not quite hot pink but still looks great

This is a Shamrock Green Fiestaware Salad plate from Homer Laughlin

The second layer is a Rose colored Fiestaware Luncheon Plate

Third layer is another Shamrock Green Dinner plate

The coffee pot sits on a 12" tray

I love Betty....my niece bought me this fantastic little Fiestaware pitcher. It's just 3 1/4" tall.

Sorry about the color - these are really Rose colored salt and pepper shakers

One last look
Hot Pink with Bavarian Schumann Wild Rose Porcelain

Pat chose gold plated flatware

The five piece place setting

Simple, sleek glassware look best with the very busy Wild Rose pattern of the china

Close up of the soup bowl

The dinner plate

This is actually a Dresser Tray but I like the look of the individual Coffee Pot on it

Individual cut crystal salt and pepper shakers

You can see the detail on this vintage napkin

Small bud vase in the Wild Rose pattern
Hot Pink with Black

Hammered looking handles add a layer of texture

This very modern salad plate is slightly bowed to give it an Oriental look

Pat wrapped the napkin around the dinner plate

Faux leather placemat

Oriental looking covered dish is actually black Depressionware

Black chop sticks for that diner with more dexterity than me.......

Simple black water and wine glasses are from Pier 1 several years ago

"Vase" is actually a water glass

Pat found these very old salt and pepper shakers at an antique store

  2. I agree with Linda -- all of the table settings are lovely, but the black and pink one took my breath away too! I love this new blog and look forward to your next challenge.
