Lenox Morning Blossom Table

Using a set from our collection of single place settings, Pat set this week's table in a simple, sweet tone using "Morning Blossom" [1975-1990] by Lenox.

Pat tried several patterns of flatware and kept coming back to this one. It is "Byzantine" by Yamazaki even though she used it for our other blog's table this week.

The charger is "Burgundy" Color Spectrum by Mikasa. Once again, Pat tried a few different colored chargers and kept coming back to this one. It really brings out the color of the flower.

Glassware is from Pier 1 several years ago

Fiestaware and Flamingo Breakfast Table

Pat and I were joined by her daughter this weekend setting tables for our blogs and just having fun with dishes. Jennifer's favorite pattern is any color Fiesta(ware).  So it came as no surprise that she used it for the basis of this breakfast table.
Jennifer started with a burlap tablecloth

We couldn't resist the flatware when we spotted it at Tuesday Morning a few months ago....

Of course, the Fiesta(ware) color combinations were taken from the flamingo accent plate

This plate is a "Periwinkle" luncheon plate

Sorry about the color but the dinner plate is really "Sea Mist" green

The cup and saucer are also "Periwinkle"

Jennifer used a modern looking water glass from Pier 1 and "Rose" Fiesta(ware) 6oz. tumbler as a juice glass

Black and White Table

Pat was on a "black, white and apricot" roll this week having set our other Blog's table in those colors. She chose to use Pier 1 "Checks" - an older set of dinnerware that we purchased several years ago - as the inspiration for this week's table.

Flatware is Noritake "Primary"

Both the charger and the soup liner are "White" Fiesta(ware) by Homer Laughlin

Pat's favorite go-to glassware for almost any table - from the Dollar Tree.

Flowers and Butterflies Table

During one of our trips to our local Pier 1 some time ago, Pat and I "scored" on a set of sweet dinnerware that was on sale. It's bold blue and colorful flowers are not every one's choice, so we could see why it did not sell immediately. Of course, for Pat, that meant a challenge. She loves to play with various color combinations and for this table, she chose a very unlikely combo of colors.
You can see how Pat took her color cue from the place setting and mixed gold, blue, and apricot

Flatware is sleek "Queensgate" stainless steel by J.A. Henckels

To add more color, Pat used a blue water goblet

The rather large butterfly napkin ring works well with the color combination of the table

Of course, the apricot silk rose centerpiece was taken from the roses on the salad plate. Pat placed the roses in a "Lady Diamond" tumbler by Cristal d'Arques - then she raised it slightly by using a glass candle holder.

The sweet Armani "Girl with a Butterfly" figurine belonged to our Mother
