Bordallo and Pink Table

Pat's goal this week was to "mix things up" a bit - and just see where it takes us. That's how the Table for One came about.
Pat is not a fan of Bordallo "Cabbage" dinnerware - I'm not sure how this dish pattern was chosen.....

Fiestaware Table for One

If you read our other tablescaping blog, you know that Pat's daughter was here this weekend. Jennifer knew immediately how she wanted to set the table this week when she spotted a napkin that her Mother had made.

Stacked Fiesta colors are: Chocolate Bread/Butter plate, Turquoise Salad Plate, Rose Luncheon Plate, and Chocolate dinner plate used as a charger.

Setting Sail Table

Pat set a decidedly masculine table this week taking a little-used placemat as her inspiration.

Dinnerware is sleek, modern "Milano" by Pasabahce. It is made of thick, clear glass making it much heavier than most glass dinnerware.

Flatware is black Primastone "Decision" by Noritake

Pat used a simple tan hemstitch napkin tied in a knot

I think this is clever - Pat used knotted rope napkin rings as votive holders (the votive is lined with foil)

Pat's bargain of the week: she got two of these lighthouses at a thrift boutique for free. No one wanted them.

Where it came from:
Placemat - Ross years ago
Flatware - Primastone "Decision" by Noritake from my collection of Noritake flatware (I have this pattern in white, brown, yellow-gold, purple, and black. I started buying it back in the early 70's.)
Dinnerware - "Milano" by Pasabahce from Tuesday Morning two or three years ago
Glassware - from the Dollar Store
Napkin and Lantern - from Pier 1 two years ago
Rope Napkin Rings and Votives - from Michael's
Lighthouse - from "Tabitha's Closet" (a local thrift and boutique store)

Noritake Crestwood Platinum Table

Pat decided to "kick it up a notch" (thanks, Emeril, I love that saying....) this week and set a more formal table. She used her Noritake "Crestwood Platinum" dinnerware and paired it with blue and silver accents.

Flatware is "20th Century Baroque" by Godinger Silver

This is actually the accent plate - not a salad plate (which resembles the dinner plate)

The blue glass charger is by Bormioli - we found them at Ross years and years ago

Pat made a flower arrangements bursting with roses

Where it came from:
Glass Charger - from Pier 1 two years ago
Blue Glass Charger - by Bormioli from Ross years ago
Dinnerware - "Crestwood Platinum" by Noritake eBay and Replacements
Flatware - "20th Century Baroque" by Godinger Silver from Horchow's
Glassware - from Pier 1 last year
Blue Champagne Trumpet Glass - from eBay
Silver Candle Holder - from Pat's collection
Armani Figurine - from our Mother
