Hello Dolly Tablescape

Both Pat and I loved the iconic theater musical legend Carol Channing. The gravelly voiced star recently passed away at the age of 97.  She performed the title roll in Hello Dolly over 4500 times. We used to watch her when we were young as she appeared on the Ed Sullivan show back in the late 1950's and 1960's. She made quite an impression on two little girls from a very isolated community in rural Northern California.
Dolly would have loved a glitzy table.....

Flatware is "Antique Baroque" by Wallace

A white napkin surrounded by a gold overlay napkin is held together with a red napkin ring and placed in the water goblet. The champagne glass pattern is "Bubbles Galore" - what could be a better name for the glass on this table????

This Betty Boop figurine always reminded Pat of "Dolly Levi"

  1. Oh, aren't those ruffled plates pretty! This is a wonderful table for remembering "Hello, Dolly." As usual, every detail looks just right.
