Anyway, Pat pulled the place setting from the cupboard and set this week's table while laughing and reminiscing.
Flatware is "Musee" by Reed & Barton
|
Not a pattern that everyone likes (including Pat), I think it is beautiful - especially using gray as an accent color
|
The charger is one of Pat's favorites - "Faience Gray" by Christofle
|
Pat selected these "lined" goblets from Pier 1 because they reminded her of the swirl from the plates
|
The large arrangement of silk roses works well with the place setting.

Where it came from:
Charger - "Faience Gray" by Christofle from eBay
Dinnerware - "Patricia" by Spode gifted to Pat by her husband's Aunt years ago
Flatware - ""Musee" by Reed & Barton from Horchow's two years ago
Lined Glassware - from Pier 1 several years ago
Gray Hemstitch Place Mat and Matching Napkin - from Tuesday Morning this year
Candle Holders and Vase - from Pat's collection
We will be joining the following Blog parties this week:
I agree with you on this pattern! I love it. It has so many possibilities! My husband's aunt had Spode "Roberta" as her china pattern and set lovely tables with it, too. I have, among my treasures, a set of Spode "Bluebird". Spode's colors always intrigue me and are always enjoyable.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving the detail on the dishes, it is just fabulous! Beautiful table Ladies...
ReplyDeleteThese plates are beautiful: each is a piece of artwork. And I really like that you chose gray as the accent color. Very, very pretty! Rosie @ The Magic Hutch
ReplyDeleteHow could one not love this set of china? It is gorgeous and lends itself to so many complimentary colors. Very cheerful. Love the backstory too.
ReplyDeleteAdd my name to those who love this china! So pretty! I am a Spode fan in general and this lovely table just furthers that cause. I love all the colors, and accenting with the gray charger really lets those colors shine.
