Patriotic Thanksgiving Day Breakfast Table

Pat set a decidedly patriotic table for Thanksgiving breakfast this year. She wanted something different but. at the same time, truly expressed our national holiday. Here's what she came up with:
Oh dear.....looking at this so-called patriotic table, I see something "awkward" - the dinnerware was made in England, the flatware was made in Italy, the plastic charger was made in China, the beige napkin was made in India, the eagle was made in Japan.

Ah ha! The glassware is "Clarion" by Lenox.....an American company. Finally......

Where it came from:
Brown Charger - Inexpensive lacquer charger spray painted with plastic adhesive spray paint
Dinnerware - "Americana" by J&G Meakin from eBay
Glassware - Brown "Clarion" by Lenox from Walsh's (a local dinnerware and wedding gift store long out of business)
Flatware - "Roma Brown" by Domus & Design Silver from Horchow's last year
Beige Napkin - "Sand" Hemstitch from Pier 1 this year
Brown Napkin - Handmade by Pat
Napkin Ring - Inexpensive PVC pipe cut into 1" rounds and spray painted to match the charger
Eagle Figurine - from our Mother's collection
Wooden Candle Holders - from Pat's collection

  2. The people that live in the same from all over the world, so it's OK that the pieces on your table did too. It's a beautiful table, especially at Thanksgiving.
