It's Christmas Time Tablescape

What a great way to start the Holiday season - setting a fun Santa themed tablescape. Pat used an accent plate that I love but she didn't - at first. In fact, when I discovered it at Pier 1 this season, she thought I was seriously "deranged." But she graciously worked with it to come up with this week's place setting and quickly changed her mind about the plate.

Flatware is "Woodland" by Cambridge - Pat found it years ago at Tuesday Morning.

I couldn't resist this plate.....

Part of our vintage Fiesta(ware) collection, "Juniper" was produced by Homer Laughlin from 1994 to 2001. It's getting more and more difficult to find pieces in this color. The "gem" in our collection is our set of  eight bread and butter plates in this rare color.

The gray charger is "Faience Gray" by Christofle

The rustic wooden charger is from Pier 1

These goblets are quickly becoming one of my favorites - the color goes perfectly with "Juniper" Fiesta(ware)

Santa is staying warm in his woolly sweater and fur trimmed coat.

Spode Indian Tree Autumn Table

For our last Autumn table of the year, Pat used Spode's "Indian Tree" - a pattern that was very popular and very long lived (from 1879 to 1994.) She paired it with amber to make a traditional Fall tablescape.

Where it came from:
Amber Glass Charger - Pattern unknown from Wayfair (mail order)
Tableware - 'Indian Tree" by Spode from Pat's collection
Copper Flatware - "Rialto" by Ricci from eBay
Amber Glass Pumpkins - from Pier 1 two years ago
Napkin - Handmade by Pat
Amber Candle holders and Bowl/Vase - from Art & Old Things (a local antique store)
Silk Flowers and Candles - from Michael's
