Purple Easter Table

Although it feels more like Winter outside (with another rainstorm, hail coming down, wind blowing with gust of 45-50 miles per hour, snow in parts of the county, and to top it all off, several small earthquakes all week....it's been some ride with the house shaking - you don't know if it is wind or quake...), Pat still set a beautiful Easter table this week. So, as I sit here bundled up with two sweatshirts over my sweatsuit, two pair of socks, heater full blast, waiting for the lights to go out, I decided I better write up this week's blog while I can......

This is one of my very favorite single place settings that we have collected -"Wild Violets" by Aynsley

This wicker-like place mat was originally a very ugly orange/yellow. I bought all that Pier 1 had for less than a dollar each. With a little spray paint, I can change them to any color I need.

Where it came from:
Place Mat - from Pier 1 several years ago
Dinnerware - "Wild Violets" by Aynsley from eBay
Flatware - "April" by Wm Rogers & Son from Pat

Sisal Bunny Table

Pat's having a lot of fun with Easter this year. She decided to stay away from the typical or conventional Easter table colors with this week's table.
Bright yellow and shamrock green bring out lots of color for the sisal bunnies.

Flatware is  ceramic handled "Primary" by Noritake

Salad plate is white Fiesta(ware) by Homer Laughlin

Pat used a Fiesta(ware) luncheon plate here - it's "Shamrock" green

This over-large dinner plate was used as the charger
