Stormy Weather Table

We just had our first storm of the season. YES!!!! In drought stricken California, all rain is good - even five inches overnight. The winds blew, the house shook, the mud ran, gutters overflowed, but we got water. And compared to what others have gone through recently, we are truly blessed.

So Pat decided to do a "Windy Day" table to celebrate our first storm - hopefully, the first of many to come.....
Lots of candles......it is very dark and the wind is still blowing.

One in a set of four "season" figurines by Guiseppi Armani, this is "Autumn Lady" or "Lady with Umbrella - Autumn"

Thomas Kinkade Cottage Table

Pat pulled out another place setting from our collection of single settings for this week's table. Spode's "Cottage," inspired by and taken from Thomas Kinkade, was made from 2005 through 2009.

Flatware is "Sculpt" from Lenox

The brown lacquer charger is just an inexpensive "left-over" from Michael's seasonal chargers (less than fifty cents each) that was spray painted with plastic adhesive spray paint.

Remember these? From Avon years ago......

Pat bought several boxes of holiday potpourri after season last year from Pier 1 at 90% off.....
