A Unique St. Patrick's Day Table

When Pat came up with the idea for this week's table, I was excited. When she finished it, I was amazed. She wanted "something different" from the usual green shamrock-like tablescapes that we often do for St. Patrick's Day. And I think she managed to take an idea and turn it into a beautiful table.


Pat wanted to set an Irish table using Irish products. And what one brand does every true tablescaper think of when they think of Ireland? Waterford....naturally. (Yes, it's true - Ireland does not really manufacture all that beautiful crystal now or the Waterford dishware which is manufactured in England - for now at least....but you get the idea.....)

Here's the table: Waterford "Glenmont" dinnerware with Waterford "Omega" Marquis glassware. On the side, Pat put a Waterford biscuit jar and Waterford salt/pepper shaker.

Rustic Easter Table for One

Pat set the table this week using a favorite sisal bunny rabbit as the inspiration.

Flatware is sleek "Image" by Spode

Pat used an oatmeal colored hemstitch napkin wrapped in a burgundy ribbon to match the cherries on the plate

A simple bright yellow ribbon added some color
